From grain to glass, every cask is crafted from barley grown in our fields in the heart of rural Scotland. Standing in the shadow of a former medieval abbey on the ‘Island of Smooth Waters’, we shape our spirit the old way, using only the finest barley grown in our own fields. Aged in quarter casks for a richly rewarding dram that raises a glass to where tradition meets contemporary.
READ OUR STORY“We are fascinated with the past and the evolution of Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which is why we’re so proud that history and heritage lie at the very heart of Inchaffray. Unlike today, storing grain through Scotland’s cold, wet winters was an issue centuries ago, so the produce was turned into alcohol, the by-products for use as cattle feed and fertilisers; and so began the process of self-sustaining single farm whisky. This tradition of ‘grain to glass’ is one that we are proud to continue today, using the same principles and methods as the generations of farmers who worked this land before us. We think they would approve."
